The Marinade of Kings


I have so far tried this on pork, chicken and an epic combo of eggplant and zucchini. If you can, get it all ready the night before and leave it to marinate in the fridge. But to be honest, it still tastes fabulous if you throw it all together last minute.

The below is enough for two – so adjust as necessary.

2 tsp tomato paste

1/2 tsp Chinese five spice

2 tsp honey

2 tbs balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 clove crushed garlic
